Go Shoot, Go Fish, – Go Surf!

Even if you do not enjoy shooting, fishing or hunting this site is worth a gander. The global thinker behind Global Outfitters had a grand vision that at first pass seemed too big to contain in one web portal, but after several collaborative think-tank sessions we began to feel that it was indeed doable. Our client’s vision was to become the single-source outfitter for hunting, fishing and shooting adventures. On this site, the user would be able to select anything from a Himalayan Tahr to a Saltwater Croaker and then find the perfect place to stay to see one of these beauties.

Does a site like this exist? It does now. After the McComm team helped to define the navigation and create the look and brand of each page, Global Outfitters took the reigns to code and maintain their massive site. So if you want to know where to bag your next Redhartebeest or Spotted Seatrout be sure to check it out. They’re adding to GlobalOutfitters.com everyday.

Prime Marketing for Some Prime Real Estate

How does one go about marketing 165 pristine acres of prime real estate ready for development? Sounds fairly easy unless you consider your target audience is only one customer hidden in a haystack as large as the U.S. Fortunately, Duckworth Morris Realty, a three-generation Tuscaloosa based firm who specializes in residential and commercial brokerage development, contacted McWhorter Communications.

A shotgun approach, while often effective, would be cost prohibitive. It was decided the best approach would be a focused mailing of a high quality informative brochure whose call-to-action would be to drive prospects to a new web site for more information. That information included not only details about the property itself, but area info which included statistics on the high population growth and the high-salaried positions being created in and around Huntsville due to the influx of people from the Base Realignment and Closure Act. McComm Launches a Solid Built Site for Rockland Engineering

Rockland Engineered Solutions is a very unique company. How many people can say that they know how to extend maintenance intervals from 30 days to three years for their clients? It’s even more impressive to learn that Rockland’s clients are in the extreme environs of the mining and cement industries. Apparently, 12″-wide rocks moving at 1,200 tons per hour can tear up a metal chute fairly quickly.

Rockland is based out of Minden, Nevada, right in the heart of the America’s gold and mineral mining territories. Yet even with their central location and expert knowledge of engineering solutions, they still needed to get their unique message to their prospects.

McWhorter Communications is proud to be one of the crew to help create awareness for these fine folks. Working closely with their new parent company, Valley Rubber, McComm has created a new corporate identity, built a new web site and launched a technical blog site.

Some of the web site features include customer testimonials, videos, interactive case histories and project snapshots. See the full site at www.rockland.com
